JAPAN "DAMAGES"
After speaking to Nicole today, there are some changes we feel need to be made on the “damages” that Japan claims on a monthly basis. I felt that we should be looking a little closer to some of the “damages” they were claiming and make sure we were doing our due diligence. Nicole agreed. While the majority of the claims are what we call “scratch and dents”, there are 3 categories that we need to start paying attention to. Please see below and let me know if you have any questions. Using the Photo tab from the Discrepancy Form Japan sends, find the column headers seen below. You will find these column headers repeated twice, depending on if the defect is on the product itself or on the outer box.
